Wonderful!

Holy shit what's wrong with people these days. "uuhhh it wasn't scary! it was too long!"

It was cinematic, something you don't seen in 98% of flash movies. It was beautiful, I felt like i was actually watching a japanese horror movie. Sure the dialog could have been better, but the scenery was outstanding, the audio was incredibly weaved in, and the movie actually had some legit camera angels/movements! The motion blur zooms were perfectly executed! The title scene was just that, a FREAKIN title scene! If you look at any movie on the market, there is a lot of real-estate invested in credits at the front end of the movie. It's supposed to be long. Not to mention, how are you supposed to create suspense without slow ambient atmosphere and nice smooth camera motions?

Also, the first monster was amazingly animated. I loved the way I was like holy shit what's that thing running at him?! and then the quick reaction time was great as well as not revealing the monster while he was running away.

The end credits were fantastic as well! half of them were made up, but the shots in the background as well as the font and coloring were great.

The ideas might not have been too original (blinking head) but as far as a flash movie on Newgrounds, this definitely stands out as something more than just another goofy flash with a goofy loading screen and start and end buttons.

I punched that bitch in da face! Oh snap! Gots a sword! lol and then when i received a quest, my character backs out slowly like wtf O.o

Imma tell you though, I was scared of that Humanoid Bison... I mean yeah, I sworded that tree to death, but that thing was just lookin at me man...

Then I saw that Knight dude, shat brix... But that bitch aint got nuthin on my wooden Shield! I sword everythan to death!

Fo reals dough, not bad for your first one. The graphics suck ass, but the simplistic programing seems to work just fine. :] 5/10 just cause it does suck, but I liked it.

Great Game

It is a little bit of a performance hog. My game was lagging too, and I'm on a pretty nice computer. But I shut everything else off, and it worked better. Still a few glitches here ant there.

Overall, the game was great! I liked the incorporation of leveling, and it seemed pretty balanced, although you'd might want to put some labeling in, like when you hover over it tells you how much each skill cost, cause it took me a while to figure out that each square had an equivalent value. I REALLY liked the way that you could shoot from the chopper, that was a blast. I would like to know if that actually has any effect on the number of zombies when you finally land.

The story was cliché and a little drawn out, "sorry, but the princess is in a different castle." Maybe mix it up a little by possible finding the little girl right off the bat, and then having to hold ground in the factory while zombies pile in for a set amount of time. Maybe adding some plot twists, I was totally waiting for every survivor I met to all of a sudden turn into a zombie... and I was freakin out when I didn't see the sister that the little girl was supposed to be with. But I just felt way too safe the whole time. I did really enjoy how large the levels were.

The zombies had a nice variety. I liked how they each had a different style to the point where you could identify them. However I do have to say that I felt pretty safe the whole time. Didn't use too many health packs, and there were plenty of those along with ammo lying around. It would make it scarrier to have an infinite bludgeon instead of the pistol, cause by the second level I was just headshoting and oneshoting everything. Love the flash light effect, I know it's nothing new, but you did a good job with it. All the textures seemed really good looking, except for the static blood on the ground, it was a little too bright red, and one solid color. I really liked the detail in the factory generators though, and the fact that you could tell that the characters at some point were 3D.

In all, it was easy to tell that you put a lot of hard work into this game, and I like to see that.

I would like to see in future versions, maybe a boss, you know just like a large fat zombie with a lot of health and some large attacks. I think you could have gotten away with more of cell shading type of artwork, just to cut down on production time, mainly just for the characters during the talking scenes and stuff. However I did really like your graphics. Mainly some better plot line, and it'd be really cool if you could add in some level effects. Like blinking lights, and when you get near a specific one, it blows out just to mess with you. And maybe like an out of control car that crashes, and then 5 seconds later a zombie comes staggering out of it. It just needs a lot more WTF in it.

it's a good game, but it's just like all the other snipers out there. i did enjoy the fact that they weren't stick figures though, so thanks for that one. it could have been more interesting, as in music in between the levels. idk, it just didn't catch my attention for very long. good job over all though keep it up and i hope to see the next one. :]
